Painting for Annabelle

Privacy policy

Last updated: 6 November 2026

Painting for Annabelle is a painting app for young children. It is built to collect no personal information at all. This page explains exactly what the app does and doesn't do.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It does not send your child's pictures, photos or any other information to us or to anyone else.

Pictures your child makes

Paintings are saved only on your iPad, inside the app. They are not uploaded anywhere. Deleting a picture in the app, or deleting the app, removes them.

Photos and the camera

If you choose to add a photo, the app asks iPadOS for permission to use your photo library or camera. The photo you pick is copied into the app on your iPad so it can appear in the painting. The "cut out the person" feature uses Apple's built-in technology and runs entirely on the iPad — the photo never leaves the device.

Sharing

The share button opens the standard iPad share menu (for example Mail, Messages or AirDrop). Nothing is sent unless you choose where to send it. Anything you send is handled by the app you pick, not by us.

Optional tips

Grown-ups can leave an optional tip after answering a question a young child can't. Tips are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, card details or any other payment information. Tips don't unlock anything.

Children's privacy

Because the app collects no personal information, it collects none from children. There are no links out of the app or purchases available to children without the grown-ups check.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
